WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Fire damaged an apartment building in Luzerne County Wednesday night.
Flames broke out around 8 p.m. along Horton Street in the city. Officials say the structure, which consists of three apartment units, suffered heavy fire and smoke damage.
Eight people are displaced as a result of the fire; they are being helped by the Red Cross. No one was injured.
A Wilkes-Barre City Fire Inspector has been called to investigate the cause of the blaze.
