Father pleads no contest in baby's death

Gary Travinski pleaded no contest to child endangerment charges in the death of his infant in Luzerne County back in November of 2021.

LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A father pleaded no contest to child endangerment charges after his infant died of a drug overdose.

Gary Travinski of Larksville did not admit guilt but agreed to be sentenced as if he did after his two-week-old passed away in 2021.

State police say the baby was fed breast milk that contained traces of fentanyl, ultimately leading to the child's death.

Travinski's wife, Jennifer, is awaiting trial on third-degree murder and related charges.
