LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — One man is dead after a workplace accident at a quarry in Luzerne County.
Emergency crews responded to American Asphalt in Jackson Township near Shavertown around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for a report of an industrial incident.
Police say an employee, later identified as David Brace, 68, was struck and killed by a heavy machinery vehicle.
An autopsy was scheduled to take place Wednesday afternoon, according to the Luzerne County Coroner's Office.
The deadly accident remains under investigation in Luzerne County.
