LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A driver died from their injuries Thursday morning after a crash on I-80 in Luzerne County.
Crews responded to an accident on I-80 westbound in Butler Township around 6 a.m. Upon arrival, a tractor-trailer was on its side against the guide rails.

Officials worked nearly an hour to get the driver out. The coroner said the driver died from their injuries.
The scene was cleared around 8 a.m. There is no word on what caused the crash.
