DUPONT, Pa. — One group in Luzerne County got to celebrate a special milestone on Saturday.
It was the 75th charter anniversary of the Dupont Lions Club.
There was a dinner and a special program along with music and dancing.
The club's president says he's glad they have been able to serve the community for this long, and he hopes to continue doing so.
"Seventy-five years of doing community service in the town of Dupont and the surrounding areas. Just wanna thank everybody for coming, enjoying our celebration. It's a great seventy-five years, and we look forward to another seventy-five beyond it," said Bob Price, President of the Dupont Lions Club.
The Dupont Lions Club is already gearing up for their next event, a huge easter egg hunt at the end of March.
