WEST HAZLETON, Pa. — Look no further for a nice way to spend a night.
Damenti's Restaurant in West Hazleton is showcasing a seasonal ice bar.
The display is open daily from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is full of ice sculptures, including a working clock.
Proceeds from the ice bar will go to SAFE, an organization that supports people with autism. A tornado destroyed its offices in Wilkes-Barre Township back in 2018.
"We're trying to raise as much funds as we can for autism in this area, Lackawanna, Luzerne. Of course, our building had the tornado, so now we're trying to raise as much as we can for the families so that we can open up another center for everyone to come to," said Michele Garis, Vice President of SAFE.
The ice bar is open until March 19th at Damenti's in West Hazleton.
