WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Flames tore through four homes in Luzerne County on Sunday.
Flames sparked at a home along North Empire Street in Wilkes-Barre just after noon.
The fire then spread to neighboring homes.
Smoke could be seen for miles while firefighters worked to knock down the flames.
Officials say three people were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Twelve people are displaced as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation in Wilkes-Barre.
