DORRANCE TOWNSHIP -- One man was hurt after a wreck that shut down a busy highway in Luzerne County.
Troopers say Harold Valdez was driving on Route 309 in Mountain Top when he lost control of his car and it went off the road and hit several trees.
According to state police, speed played a factor in the wreck.
Valdez was flown to the hospital and there is no word on his condition.
Route 309 reopened around 3:30p.m. on Saturday in Luzerne County.
