SUGARLOAF, Pa. — A day at the golf course in Luzerne County helped raise money for the Collaborative Autism Movement.
The organization teamed up with Black Diamond Cornhole to host a cornhole tournament at the Sugarloaf Golf Club near Conyngham.
Dozens of people came out to have a good time and help out a good cause...
"It's fabulous," said Eileen Perchak with the Collaborative Autism Movement. "Today, we, I think we have 51 teams registered today. We have a private donor that sponsored it today to make our prize pot $2,500 which is really, really good, three divisions: a professional, intermediate and a social division. So everybody gets a chance, and the money spread out evenly."
The Collaborative Autism Movement provides resources and support for individuals and families affected by autism.
