WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A plaza in Wilkes-Barre Township is buzzing with construction activity, including the addition of a new Wawa convenience store.
It's a transformation of the old K-Mart plaza in Wilkes-Barre Township.
Along with a Wawa, there's an Aldi supermarket and car wash coming to the plaza.
This is part of Wawa's big expansion into parts of northeastern and central Pennsylvania that some considered Sheetz territory.
