LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A jury found a man guilty of theft Thursday after a trial this week in Luzerne County.
Police say that now 36-year-old Jeremy Cieniawa sold the home of a 93-year-old Hazleton woman he was serving as a caregiver for back in November of 2022 and made of $72,000 from the sale.
It wasn't until November of last year that Cieniawa was charged with theft, fraud, neglect, and related charges.
Cienawa will be sentenced at a later date.
