LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A child accidentally drowned on Monday, according to the Luzerne County coroner.
Authorities said the 3-year-old boy was transported by emergency crews from a home in Hunlock Township to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The child's identity was not released.
The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the drowning in Luzerne County.
