WYOMING, Pa. — A West Wyoming man was working hard to spread Christmas cheer Sunday afternoon in Luzerne County.
Paul Orzel says this is his sixth year in a row dressing up as a Christmas character and running up and down Wyoming Avenue to bring smiles to people's faces as they drive by.
Sometimes he's dressed as Santa or the pink bunny from "A Christmas Story."
This year he's Buddy the Elf. Newswatch 16 stopped him to learn more about his inspiration for the costume.
"Just the smile on people's faces. It's not something you have to buy, but it gives a little bit of a gift to everybody," explained Paul Orzel of West Wyoming.
This elf was grateful for the mild temperatures and dry weather in the Wyoming Valley as he went off on his holiday exercise mission on Christmas Eve.
