SUGARLOAF TOWNSHIP, Pa. — An animal cruelty investigation is underway in Luzerne County.
The SPCA says evidence of a bird fighting ring was found at a home in Sugarloaf Township. More than 70 hens, 59 roosters, and a substance used to promote fighting were discovered.
No arrests have been made in connection with the investigation.
