KINGSTON, Pa. — Bingo is a very popular way to raise money for a cause or an event here in northeastern and central Pennsylvania.
The Kingston American Legion Black Diamond Post 395 holds a cash bingo and basket raffle to raise money to support the Wyoming Valley Veterans Day Parade coming up next month.
"In two months, they got this all put together. It's amazing the interest the number of people who come out here," Susan Allen, chair of the Veterans Day Parade Committee.
The Wyoming Valley Veterans Day Parade steps off at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 5. The reviewing stand is on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre.
