PITTSTON, Pa. — The Knights of Columbus hosted a benefit in Pittston for wounded Scranton detective Kyle Gilmartin, who was shot in the line of duty more than a week ago.
There was food, basket raffles, and plenty of live music for folks to enjoy. Proceeds from food and alcohol sales and the raffles will go to Gilmartin and his family.
Gilmartin is a native of the greater Pittston area.
He remains in critical condition after he was shot in West Scranton.
