A 21-year-old Exeter man is locked up in Ohio and awaits a trip back to Luzerne County to face charges he shot someone in Courtdale late last year, state police said.
Wadee Dwikat is facing counts of attempted homicide and other offenses for shooting a 35-year-old man on Christmas night at a home on the Memorial Highway. The victim has since been treated and released from the hospital.
Officers in Warren, Ohio, and the Pennsylvania State Police Fugitive Task Force found and arrested Dwikat. He's awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania.
