Annual Big Bang celebration held in Nanticoke

Folks were celebrating the 4th of July a little early in Nanticoke as the city kicked off its Big Bang event on Sunday.

NANTICOKE, Pa. — Nanticoke held its annual Big Bang 4th of July celebration this weekend.

It was originally scheduled for Saturday, but due to storms, it got moved to Sunday night.

The event on Prospect Street included food, live music, moon bounces, and pony rides.

The night ended with a spectacular fireworks show in Luzerne County.
