LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Two water main breaks in Scranton are affecting several communities in Lackawanna County.
According to an alert from Pennsylvania American Water, the breaks affect homes and businesses in Scranton, Dickson City, Moosic, Blakley, and Olyphant.
One break is a 12-inch line on West Market Street, affecting about 100 homes and businesses.
The other break is at Quincy Avenue and Poplar Street.
Work on repairs began overnight and may take 24 hours to complete.
Water customers in the affected area may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water.
