GoFundMe set up after warehouse fire in Scranton

Crews responded just after 10 p.m. Wednesday evening.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Crews battled a fire at a warehouse in Scranton Wednesday evening near the 2100 block of Brown Avenue.

Firefighters were called to the scene just after 10 p.m.

It's not yet clear what started the fire, but smoke and flames were visible as crews worked to put out the blaze.

Newswatch 16 had a crew on the scene and spoke to residents who said the warehouse was a wooden pallet factory named Bunevitch Pallets.

Crews were seen fighting the fire from all angles, including spraying water through a collapsed wall. The factory is surrounded by a primarily residential area.

There is no word on any injuries.

The owner of Bunevitch Pallets has a GoFundMe, which you can find here.

This is a developing story; it will be updated when new details are available.
