SCRANTON, Pa. — Scranton police arrested two men in connection with a carjacking in the city Thursday night.
Nii Mensah-Sowah of East Orange, New Jersey, is charged with robbery of a motor vehicle, terroristic threats, and related charges.
Rashaad Green of Scranton is charged with robbery of a motor vehicle, conspiracy, and related charges.
Police said the two men wearing ski masks approached the victim's car on Capouse Avenue just before 7 p.m. Thursday with one holding a gun. They took his Mercedes and fled. Police located the car in Pocono Township, Monroe County, and the men took off in the car. They were stopped on Interstate 80 in Monroe County.
Mensah-Sowah and Green are locked up in Lackawanna County.
