SCRANTON, Pa. — Monday's wind caused some damage in Scranton.
A tree fell onto the back porch of an apartment building along Luzerne Street just after noon.
A neighbor witnessed it coming down.
"I heard a slow cracking noise, and I watched it fall; it was like slow motion watching it fall as it was coming down. Nothing anybody can do; thank god no one was outside, and everything was done, so no one got hurt, and that's a blessing," said Lisa Edwards, neighbor.
There was some damage to the porch, but no one was hurt.
The Stormtracker 16 Team says wind speeds in Scranton peaked at 47 miles per hour Monday afternoon.
