JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A van struck a utility pole in Lackawanna County Wednesday afternoon, sending three people to the hospital.
It happened just before 2:30 pm on Route 348 in Jefferson Township near Mount Cobb.
Emergency crews said two adults and a child were taken to the hospital.
The road was shut down for a short time.
