CARBONDALE, Pa. — Students resumed school activities on Friday after investigators in Carbon County found a potential threat was not credible.

According to the Carbondale Police Department, potential threats shared on social media Thursday prompted the Carbondale Area School District Junior/Senior High School to close on Friday as police and school administrators investigated the threats.
