Therapeutic pool renovations complete at St. Joseph's Center

The project took about two months to complete and cost about $275,000, funded through grants.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Aquatic therapy services have resumed at St. Joseph's Center in Lackawanna County.

The pool, dedicated back in 1997, closed in November for renovations.

The $275,000 project, funded through grants, included resurfaced pool walls, a new UV light sanitizing system, and new panels for the adjustable flooring.

Patients and clients at St. Joseph's use aquatic therapy for pain relief.
