The Wonderstone Gallery in Dunmore closing its doors soon and looking for new home

The store's owner says her business is closing suddenly after the building was sold, but the outpouring of support is overwhelming as she decides her next steps.

DUNMORE, Pa. — For more than a decade, The Wonderstone Gallery has called Dunmore Corners home, but store owner Beth Zero says not for much longer. She posted on the store's Facebook page that the store would be closing because the building was sold, and she had to be out in a month.

"It was the right thing to do to let people know what's going to happen. Because we have a lot of people who come in for yoga, and they need to know that there's going to have to be a new home."

Zero says she received notice over the weekend from the building's new owner that she would need to move.

"As far as I know, I'm the only one in the building who's going, so it remains to be seen. I don't know what the new owner's plans are. He said he has plans for this space. We'll see what happens," Zero said.

Over the past 24 hours, Zero has received calls, texts, and visits from customers who want to help in any way they can so the Wonderstone Gallery can live on elsewhere.

"It just amazes me. You have no idea the impact you have on other people until something like this happens."

Zero says finding a new location, if she chooses to continue on with the business, will be tricky since she also hosts yoga and wellness classes. She hopes the right space exists and remains hopeful for the future.

"I have no idea what tomorrow's going to bring. I'm just going to take it one day at a time. I'm going to trust my journey and see where it leads."

Zero plans to host one last yoga class in the studio before the shop's last official day.
