LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A few weeks ahead of Thanksgiving, Indraloka Animal Sanctuary near Dalton held its annual ThanksLiving feast.
It's a chance to treat the sanctuary's many rescued animals and also show humans around the property.
Visitors got to take part in a vegan holiday meal as well.
"There is so much angst and suffering in the world around us, so I am really hoping today can give everyone some respite from all of that and bring them some joy," said Indra Lahiri, Indraloka Animal Sanctuary Founder.
There were turkeys at this ThanksLiving feast, but they were the ones eating Saturday in Lackawanna County.
