SCRANTON, Pa. — More than 30 middle schoolers got to test their welding skills on Friday in Scranton. The Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County hosted the Weld-A-Saurus welding camp.
The students had the opportunity to weld, construct, and learn how to use a MIG welder, and basic welding techniques to transform a steel plate into a dinosaur skeleton. They also learned about welding safety and career opportunities in the welding field in Scranton.
