JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP -- A road in Lackawanna County was closed in both directors after a tractor trailer got stuck.
State police said the driver of the rig realized he was on the wrong road and tried to turn around on Route 247 near Mount Cobb around noon Tuesday.
The cab of the truck got stuck on the shoulder of the road and the trailer ended up blocking both lanes.
Route 247 was closed until crews freed the stuck truck.
