JESSUP, Pa. — The latest event to fall victim to COVID-19 is St. Ubaldo Day.
The running of the saints draws hundreds every year to Lackawanna County.
Organizers said it was a difficult decision, but one they had to make after the event was canceled in Jessup's sister city in Italy and for the safety of everyone involved.
Officials said St. Ubaldo Day in Jessup will be back and stronger than ever in 2021.
