SCRANTON, Pa. — The new splash pad at McDade Park in Lackawanna County is closed temporarily.
County officials say a mechanical pump malfunction is the problem.
The $700,000 splash pad opened last month. There is no word on when the problem will be fixed.
The newly renovated pool at McDade Park remains open for swimmers.
