SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters were out in Lackawanna County early Saturday morning.
Crews were called to a home along White Birch Road in South Abington Township, near Clarks Summit, around 6:45 a.m. Saturday.
Early reports indicated there was a fire in the basement.
Smoke soon filled the home.
So far, there is no word about what caused the fire in Lackawanna County.
