SCRANTON, Pa. — A man is facing child rape charges in Lackawanna County.
Julian Maldonado, 31, of Scranton, was arrested on Wednesday after a complaint was made against him. The victim, a child, was taken to the Children's Advocacy Center, where they disclosed the abuse.
Maldonado faces charges for rape of a child, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, and other related offenses.
He is locked up at the Lackawanna County Prison and unable to post bail.
A preliminary hearing is set for November 6.
