MOOSIC, Pa. — A walk to support research into ALS was held in Lackawanna County on Saturday.
Folks came together for the ALS United Walk at PNC Field in Moosic.
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord; there is no cure for the condition.
ALS United Mid-Atlantic works to support research on the condition and direct care services for patients.
