MOOSIC, Pa. — An event encouraging folks to recycle was held in Lackawanna County on Saturday.
Lackawanna County's Office of Environmental Sustainability hosted its first 'Reuse Fest' also at PNC Field in Moosic.
People could drop off things they no longer need, including clothing, toys, and tools.
"And what it is, it's a donation event, so we want people instead of throwing out their goods that they might have during spring cleaning; they can come to this event and donate to local organizations who needs who need stuff," said Nicole Shapiro, Lackawanna County recycling coordinator.
Items from the event in Lackawanna County will be donated to several local charities.
