LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Memorial Day observances taking place throughout our area.
The borough of Old Forge began the day with a parade on Main Street.
Bands, Little Leaguers, softball players, elected officials and more came out to pay tribute to the men and women who served our country.
And in Throop, the Veterans of Foreign War and the American Legion teamed up to honor the fallen.
The groups visited every cemetery and every veterans memorial in that Lackawanna County community.
