MOOSIC, Pa. — A couple days late, but it is officially baseball season in Lackawanna County.
The Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders finally got a chance to play their home opener at PNC Field.
First pitch in the game against the Syracuse Mets was at 6:35pm.
Opening Day was originally scheduled for Tuesday and postponed, then postponed again Wednesday because of the rainy weather.
The Railriders will entertain Syracuse all the way through Sunday afternoon here at PNC Field in Moosic.
