SCRANTON, Pa. — Folks in Scranton came together to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim Saturday night.
Temple Hesed hosted a special event to mark the occasion.
Rabbi Daniel Swartz says Purim is one of the most festive of all Jewish holidays. It is a time to retell the story of the Book of Esther and relate its messages to today.
This year's theme included Barbie and Taylor Swift.
Rabbi Swartz says it was great to see everyone coming together to have a good time, and even learn something new.
