LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — If you're looking for a few gourds for fall, you'll be able to find a bunch at a pumpkin fundraiser in Lackawanna County.
Starting Sunday, folks with the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church will be selling thousands of pumpkins for the Appalachia Service Project.
The nonprofit brings volunteers from around the country to central Appalachia to repair homes for low-income families.
"It's our biggest fundraiser of the year. It's our third year doing it; it helps us raise money to send an additional cruise on our trip next summer," said Kyrston Grives, ASP volunteer.
The pumpkin fundraiser kicks off at 9 a.m. Sunday and runs through October 31st at the church in Lackawanna County.
