Church in Scranton holds prayer service for peace in Ukraine

The mass held at St. Peter's Cathedral in Scranton marked two years since Russia invaded Ukraine.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Sunday marks the second anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine.

There was a special prayer service held at St. Peter's Cathedral on Wyoming Avenue in Scranton. More than a dozen people came to pray for peace in the country.

People were encouraged to wear yellow or blue in support of Ukraine.
