Police swarm home in Lackawanna County

Newswatch 16 was there when officers walked more than a dozen people out of a home around 3:30 a.m. on New Year's Day.

DUNMORE, Pa. — Police broke up a party in Dunmore following reports of shots fired outside the home.

No one was hit.

It happened along Adams Avenue.

Police blocked off Electric Street in the city around 3:30 a.m. Monday.

Newswatch 16 was there when officers walked more than a dozen people out of a home on Adams Avenue.

Both Scranton and Dunmore police responded.

We're not sure why officers surrounded the place or if any charges will be filed in Lackawanna County.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
