SCRANTON, Pa. — Pennsylvania American Water has announced work will begin Wednesday along North Main Avenue, between Viewmont Drive and Reese Street in Scranton, as part of a recent pipe upgrade project.
There will be lane restrictions along North Main Avenue as crews prepare for paving and final restoration.
Depending on the weather, crews will mill and overlay the roadway through October 18th.
The final paving is expected to be done by the end of next week.
Traffic restrictions will be implemented, and drivers are recommended to find alternate travel routes.
