LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A community came together for a young girl battling leukemia in Lackawanna County.
Lydia's Light packed a crowd into the Blakely Hose Company Sunday.
Folks could enjoy a delicious pasta dinner, raffles, drinks, and other merchandise.
Lydia Rudovitz was diagnosed in September with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and has already started rounds of chemotherapy.
"It means a lot to us and to everybody. Without all of these people helping out and doing everything they can to help my family," said Eileen Lynch, Lydia's grandmother.
Money raised Sunday from food, drinks, and raffles will help the family's expenses in Lydia's fight against cancer.
If you want to help, the family has a GoFundMe account.
