LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — One person is in the hospital after a crash in Luzerne County.
State police say a dump truck was traveling South on I-476 in Pittston Township around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, when the truck bed hit an overpass and then a concrete barrier.
The road was closed for several hours as crews worked to clear the wreck before reopening around 9 a.m.
The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries; there is no word yet on his condition.
