COVINGTON, Pa. — One person is dead after a motorcycle crash in Lackawanna County.
Crews responded to the Scranton Pocono Highway (Route 307) in Covington Township, near Daleville, just before 5 p.m. Wednesday after a motorcycle collided with a car.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
State police identified the victim as Kevin Burkard-Gallagher, 34, from Dunmore. Investigators said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
