LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Lackawanna County and the greater scranton Chamber of Commerce unveiled a new partnership Wednesday morning.
The chamber will manage business development and marketing. The county will work with the chamber to support workforce training and grow small businesses in Lackawanna County.
"So that's up to 24 additional business start-ups that we're going to bring into Lackawanna County or bring from the idea phase in Lackawanna County to full business development," said Bob Durkin, Greater Scranton Chamber Of Commerce.
Lackawanna County's economic development department will help both organizations with the process.
