Music will soon be filling Electric City

The Electric City Music Conference is back in downtown Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa. — The Electric City Music Conference is back in downtown Scranton for the 11th year. Artists from all over the country and world will come to the Electric City to showcase their musical talents.

The conference starts with the Steamtown Music Awards at The V Spot Bar on September 12, and the city will be filled with performances until the morning of September 15th.

The Shakes Space in The Marketplace at Steamtown Mall will host various events and performances as part of the Electric City Music Conference. One of those performances will be Brian Walker of A Day Without Love.

Brian Walker is a Boston folk punk musician who has been in the music scene since 2013. He showcases his musical talents and focuses on highlighting mental health awareness. He will perform at The Shakes Space on Friday night, ending the first evening of The Electric City Music Conference at The Shakes Space.
