SCRANTON, Pa. — A new mural in Lackawanna County is capturing history.
People came out to the Tripp House along North Main Avenue in Scranton on Thursday for the dedication of the mural on the McCarthy Floral building.
Artist Eric Bussart tells Newswatch 16 that this is one of his favorite projects he's ever worked on.
"I just love history, I love historical things, and getting to paint the indigenous people that would've lived in this area, that was really cool. So, doing research on what kind of game they hunted and the sort of dress they would wear, and the way they interact with nature. And just trying to capture that in the paint, that was really fun."
