DICKSON CITY -- A massive sinkhole opened up near the Viewmont Mall in Lackawanna County.
Security closed the road between the mall and Raymour and Flanigan Saturday afternoon in Dickson City in order to keep people safe.
The water company has been called in to help find out what caused the sinkhole.
Officials say it is about 50 feet across.
