SCRANTON, Pa. — A fire at an apartment building on Prescott Avenue in Scranton displaced 10 people, including three children and seven adults.
One man was taken to the hospital. Fire Chief John Judge said he believed the man was taken as a precaution for smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
The fire is under investigation and officials believe it started on the back porch. It remained undetermined later on Tuesday.
One unit has heavy smoke and fire damage and another has smoke damage.
